What Makes Me a Fitness Expert?

Best known as America’s favorite relatable Health Coach who brings all of the latest trends in health, fitness and well-being and breaks it down into a practical application. My boutique fitness & lifestyle company is based in Los Angeles, California.

Just like so many of you, I had struggled with my weight for a majority of my life. I was completely misinformed about nutrition and by the time I was in my early 20’s, I was in a perpetual cycle of gaining and losing 30 pounds and neurotic about it!  I had tried every radical diet that ever existed until…

I received the BEST ADVICE EVER! “Everything you will ever need in life comes from within”.

So my journey began through self preservation. I stopped trying to perfect my body and my diet. I discovered that behavior was something that we learned but could unlearn and that all success begins in our minds. I set out to build a healthy relationship to food by not counting calories and stayed consistent in my workouts without judgment, even in the times I just couldn’t give a 100%. I always make a personal commitment to have FUN and rate my success on how good I feel and how much I enjoy my physical activities. I celebrate my body for what it can do.  I discovered my best self through my most fit self. After realizing the power that movement has to change lives, I knew I had to share all of my unique strategies, techniques and core principles with others-

Some Fun Facts You Should Know About Me

YES I WILL quote, sing or listen to anything 80’s! I’m an AVID softball junkie and I believe you can accomplish anything you set your mind to!

Currently, I represent several brands on-air, contribute to many local and national TV shows such as; the TODAY show, EXTRA TV, Steve Harvey, Inside Edition, ABC, KTLA, CBS and serve on several local advisory boards for health and fitness. My approach is to deliver ultra practical solutions that you can perform daily to create a consistent health routine that works for your lifestyle!

I have continuous studies in mindful awareness techniques though UCLA & Insight LA curriculums.

On my “off time” (Yeah right!), I write books on diet and lifestyle, I attend worldwide fitness conferences, sit in on study clinics with local orthopedic doctors, conduct research and have worked in the weight loss clinic of The Biggest Loser’s MD, Rob Huizenga.

I also love writing and blogging for various media outlets such as FAB FIT FUN , SHEKNOWS and Shape Magazine providing trending health and fitness tips.
